FAQs

How do I get my snake out?

Since the material is slippery, you can gently squeeze one end of the O where the snake is to shift them toward the opening.

BE CAREFUL! Do not squeeze your snake! Do not reach your hand in to grab your snake. If they still are unwilling to get out of their Cozy-O, please place your O into their enclosure and check back soon to see if they have slithered out. (See instruction video @Dominos_Craft_Corner)

Is my snake stuck?

It is unlikely that your snake is stuck. If they get themselves in, they can most likely get themselves out. Snakes are very bendy! Leave your Cozy-O in your snake's enclosure, and wait for them to slither out (check back soon)!

** In severe cases (or if your snake tries to exit the Cozy-O through the small crochet holes), it is safe for you to use safety scissors to cut the Cozy-O while your snake is inside. Safety first!

Is this size right for my snake?

The Cozy-O is too small if your snakes’ circumference is wider than the opening of the O. It is too big if they try to stick their noses through the small holes in the crochet and can slither out through those instead of the opening. The large size Cozy-O is not suitable for very small snakes because they can escape through the small gaps in the yarn. It is appropriately sized when your snake can make a “U turn” successfully.
